Website Project:
Walsh came to Hatch looking to increase their presence at the national level. Their competency and capabilities in the commercial door industry yielded strong growth within their market and they wanted their brand identity to reflect that reality.

Brand and Web Strategy
After spending time with the Walsh team in Discovery sessions, the Hatch team developed a robust brand and web strategy to simplify the user experience and better accomplish the business goals we heard in the discovery meeting.
- Prove your expertise with examples of how Walsh can get things done quickly and efficiently.
- Visually Align with industry trends and national companies.
- Attract potential employees looking for a long-term career at a stable company.
- Attract more data center work through showcasing your past experience.
The current website, although information rich, was lacking in an intuitive user experience for navigation and information consumption. They felt local and traditional and it did not adequately target their primary audience to take action.
Brand Identity
During the Web Strategy project, Hatch determined that to reach their stated goals of appearing more national and speaking confidence into large general contractors, Walsh would benefit greatly from a refresh of their brand identity.

Before
After

Website Discovery
Working in parallel to the rebrand, Hatch built out compelling mood boards, a website wireframe, and an updated site map to both simplify the user experience and make it more impactful.

Flat Art
Once the general direction of these three aspects were decided on, Hatch built out flat art (mock websites) to visualize how colors, fonts, imagery, content, flow, and navigation all work together to achieve those original goals.

Development
Upon revision and approval of the flat art, a fully functioning website was developed to include new copy, images, and styling along with technical and on-site SEO and analytics implementation.
In order to capture the level of sophistication Walsh had achieved, photography and videography projects were approved. These assets were then brought into the web design to elevate the brand and company to a national feel.
